Used Equipment Purchasing

We do purchase gently used aquarium and reptile equipment in clean, working condition. Owners must arrange to have equipment transported to the store, we do not offer pick up or break downs at this time. Offers are in STORE CREDIT ONLY we do not pay cash or trade. We purchase tanks and terrariums starting at $0.50/Gal for small tanks. Credit offered is at EA staff's discretion.
Dry Good Refunds
In the rare event that equipment purchased from EA is faulty or fails please call and speak with the store manager. Every brand we carry comes with different manufacturers warranties and we are happy to guide customers through the claim process with manufacturers where applicable.
Livestock Sales Policy
Easy Aquariums reserves the right to refuse sale of any live animal. EA staff care deeply about the animals we sell and want to ensure all our animals will be cared for humanely for their entire natural life. We are devoted to working with hobbyists of all experience levels from beginner to expert. If you can no longer care for your fish, amphibian, invertebrate or reptile, we are committed to finding a new home for every pet and will accept any surrendered animals provided we have room to house them at no charge.

We believe in sustainability and are committed to best practices. We source our animals from ethical, sustainable aquaculture companies. For animals that are wild caught, we make every endeavor to ensure they are harvested humanely and sustainably.
Privacy Policy
Anytime you interact with Easy Aquariums you may choose to provide us with private information as part of normal business transactions. We are committed to protecting your privacy from misuse and only share information with third parties as needed in order to complete usual business (EG shipping, payment). We do not sell or share your personal information to third parties for the purpose of advertising, marketing or solicitation. A complete privacy policy is available upon request.
Livestock Health Guarantee
We are happy to offer a limited health warranty on our most of our livestock. Invertebrates such as anemones, corals, shrimps, crabs, and plants are specifically excluded from our health warranty. Our staff take great care to ensure the animal you purchase from us is healthy. Should an animal die within 7 days of purchase due to a pre-existing health condition we are happy to offer a refund. We do not issue refunds for any other reason, including but not limited to - tank mate aggression, owner error, transport damage/long transit, or accidental death. Once an animal leaves our store it is the responsibility of the owner to provide appropriate care to ensure the animals needs are met. If you feel that the animal you purchased from us died due a pre-existing health issue, our staff will be happy to review your claim and issue a refund if appropriate. In some circumstances additional information from the owner or experts contracted by EA may be deemed necessary to determine if the cause of death was due to a pre-existing health condition.
Please be prepared to answer questions about animal care, housing, feeding and environmental conditions. In the event we elect to seek the services of an expert such as a pathologist, EA will assume any costs.
In the event that the owner seeks veterinary care, EA may at their discretion, elect to cover some or all of veterinary services provided during the 7 day health warranty up to $500, if deemed appropriate and necessary. We strongly recommend that all reptiles be examined by a veterinarian with expertise in exotic pets within 48 hours of purchase. EA is not responsible for the cost of any veterinary wellness exams or health check exams. We are happy to provide names of veterinary clinics experienced in reptile and fish care upon request.
